As a former competitive swimmer, cyclist and computer nerd my posture is terrible, my head is always forward and I pay for it, with a lot of pain and stiffness. I’ve had a lot of body work over the years but nothing compares to my experience with Breke. She took the time to ask me about what was going on now and my history. She did a full assessment of my body and explained as she went. The massage itself was awesome. She moved at a pace that showed she was focusing on that area and not just running through a checklist. She explained as we worked, she was very conscious to check in on levels of pressure, and she was highly attuned to me. She would have me relax, and I felt I was relaxed but more than once she asked me to relax more, and guess what? She was right, I was still holding the tension. Above all the awesome things that she did during the session the thing I appreciate the most is how she empowered me to continue to help myself between sessions. She gave me some exercises to do at home, and has even gotten me to change my driving position to use my headrest… who knew you could actually rest your head when driving. I’ve already recommended KineticWise to several friends and family and I will continue to recommend it to anyone who wants to actually alleviate and resolve pain and tension. —Julie Gold, Fort Collins, CO
I have been experiencing extreme pain in my left arm, shoulder and shoulder blade for several months. I have been going to my Chiropractor for a number of years and he has done a very good job of taking care of me but the left arm problem has never gotten better altogether. About 4 weeks ago, he discovered that the muscles were knotting up and I have been doing stretching excerises to help relieve that problem. After yesterday's treatment, he suggested I get a massage and recommended Kinetic Wise which is a few doors down from his office. I was in a great deal of pain! I walked down and learned I could get a massage in an hour. I was thrilled! I had a terrific massage by Miss Andrea Burger, LMT. She did a deep muscle massage on the left shoulder that reached those knotted muscles! She found muscles that I didn't know I had! I walked out after an hour and had more range of motion than I have had in months! Thank you, Miss Andrea Burger! I had no pain last night and could sleep very comfortably for a change. If you want a great massage, see Andrea!!! —Cheryle Haworth, Fort Collins, CO

I've been seeing Andréa at Kinetic Wise for over a year now and she's one of the best therapists I have seen. Do yourself a favor and go see her! —Justin Vorhees, Fort Collins, CO
The Colorado Trail winds through nearly 500 miles of beautiful backcountry, including six wilderness areas and eight major watersheds. So it's no surprise that the wet-and-wild CT also boasts tenacious swarms of voracious mosquitoes and biting flies. I recently thru-hiked the entire 500 miles without having to use DEET — not even once — thanks in part to Buzz Off Bugz essential oil at KineticWise. I liberally applied all-natural Buzz Off oil directly to my exposed hands, feet, face, neck and scalp every day (especially when I set up camp). Used in tandem with clothing protection, the oil helped to repel the flying pests ... and even ticks! The coolest part? Fellow hikers would tell me I smelled GREAT ... a rarity when you've been hiking five weeks on the trail. —Becky Jensen, Fort Collins, CO
Breke is the best! After 6 months of physical therapy and minimal relief from my upper back pain, I felt almost no pain after just 3 massages with Breke! Would highly recommend kinetic wise if you are needing quick relief. They are all very knowledgeable and friendly! —Mackenzie Hogan, Fort Collins, CO
Six months after successful bilateral total knee replacement in 2015, I hadn’t yet regained a normal walking gait and the pain associated with stairs continued to present a significant challenge. My stamina was low and my frustration was very high. It was at this time that I started intensive, weekly massage therapy with Breke Ewton at KineticWise. With skill, intuition and patience, Breke worked a plan for me that helped to reduce inflammation and strengthen the muscles around my knees. Within weeks I was walking better and smiling more. Within 3 months I had gained significant strength and confidence and I was able to reduce my visits to one per month. One year after the surgery, I walked the 10K Bolder Boulder without pain. New knees aren’t like original knees, but they rock! Breke’s healing gifts helped me tremendously through a tough rehabilitation, and I am so very grateful to her. But responsibility for my health is an ongoing commitment. Now, I look forward to my monthly appointments with Breke as I learn exercises and ideas that help me strengthen not just my knees, but every aspect of my health. —Diane Westervelt, Fort Collins, CO
I was introduced to Kendra, a neuromuscular massage therapist, in 2007 and have been going to her exclusively for massage ever since. I have received all types of massages from reputable therapists in Los Angeles and elsewhere, but have never received the level of skill that Kendra possesses. She works out every myofascial trigger point (knot) and leaves you feeling pain-free. I highly recommend Kendra, owner of Kinetic Wise. If I could give her 10 stars, I would. —AJ H, Fort Collins, CO

As an avid runner, gardener and self-proclaimed volleyball junkie, I put a lot of stress on my body. Then I hunch over my computer keyboard all week, which does a number on my back and shoulders. After I completed a huge deadline and wound up with tremendous shoulder pain from repetitive strain as a result, I couldn't lift my left arm. At all. 4 days later, I decided to do something about it and called KineticWise. I learned quite a bit during my session with Kendra about neuromuscular therapy and what it really means to treat the source of the pain ...and when they say they are outcome-oriented at KineticWise Massage, they're not just whistling dixie! By the time my session was complete, I could lift my arm well over my head. I left, not only feeling better physically, but feeling educated and empowered as to how to care for myself in my line of work. —Kat Weiss / Katapult Creative
I have a degenerative condition in my spine that causes the muscles up either side of my backbone to tighten on a daily basis. The staff at KineticWise Massage work on those areas to release the tightness as well as try to enlongate the muscles and all of the connectors. I feel AWESOME after the massage - it is definitely not a "club rub" type of massage. The massages that I have had have required me to work with the therapist to release the tensions and tightness. This is a great approach and I have been experiencing less pain after the sessions - thanks KineticWise! — Linda Shoemaker, Fort Collins, CO
Kendra is amazing. Her knowledge of certain areas of the body that affects other areas and how to work them so a person doesn't feel beaten up the following day is amazing.
